A quick-thinking police lieutenant stopped a silver and gold Prius from running down a pedestrian by ramming the crazed driver's auto.
“He was 15-20 feet from hitting the guy,” hero cop Heidi Tuttle said in Seattle.
The Grim Reaper was lurking.
"He gunned it towards the guy," Tuttle said. "The victim jumped out of the street.'"
The mad motorist leaped from his Prius but was arrested a few blocks away and booked into the county jail for investigation of assault.
The incident occurred Sept. 12.
